Calendula is a type of plant which is usually grown in winters. Its botanical name was "Calendula officinalis". It is easy to grow plants. They are small plants that may grow up to 6 to 8 inches. And its flower comes like Bucket flower which looks very nice. Usually, blooms come in yellow and orange.

1. Start with Good quality calendula seeds. always use fresh and Good quality seeds for better germination, buy seeds from a nursery or you can buy them from online retailers.
2. Take a medium-size pot/seedling tray with drainage holes at the bottom. Cover the holes with small stones for better drainage.
You can also use egg cartons to grow your seedlings.
3. To get a high germination rate use a mix of organic compost (20%), normal garden soil (60%), and river sand (30%). Then fill the pot/seedling tray with a potting mix.
4. Now sprinkle the seeds over the potting mix evenly. Avoid sowing more than 2 seeds in the same division of your seedling tray, sowing too many seeds in the same division will reduce the germination rate of your seeds. Cover the seeds with a fine layer of the same potting mix. Do not bury the seeds too deep.
5. Gently press the potting mix with your hand otherwise seeds will change their position when we water them. Now give water to seed and keep the soil moist at all times, never dry and especially not soggy, which promotes fungal rot of the cuttings.
6. After 3-6 days you can see your seeds start germinating, Then Keep the seedling tray in a warm location with bright but indirect light. Sprinkle the water daily using a spray bottle.
7. Now when plants are grown up to 3 inches, use a spoon or other small tool to dig the seedling out of the seedling tray, being careful not to damage the roots. you can transplant them into main pots.
